I would like to first thank you for your support in our run for Louisiana’s 4th Congressional District seat. I am running because God put this task before me to achieve for those who have been suffering and unrepresented. Although, I appreciate your invitation to speak to your great congregation, I made a promise I would not disturb the normal flow of God’s time with politics.
Therefore, I can only speak about the political issues at hand in a meeting that is held specifically for me to come and speak. Otherwise, I count on you, as the Pastor to speak to your congregation about our campaign’s needs and the change that has to take place for all of us to have what God has stored up for us.
I greatly respect what God does during church services. I also greatly respect your work as His vessel and I sincerely hope that you are not offended by my attempt to respect you and God’s word. Your help is greatly needed for change. Our grass roots effort eventually has to become larger. Your voice is needed to tell those you know within the Church throughout this ten parish district about change. Let them know that it starts with them and their participation.
Our opponent has thrown every stone that he can, as he attempts to evade the issues that expose his lack of support to our communities and its leaders. Now, it’s time to make sure that everyone understands who he supports and what he stands for. It’s time to expose the facts that he wants to remain quiet.
